Why?

A while ago, I switched my home to solar energy. I thought it would be simple—just put some solar panels on my roof and start saving. Simple enough, right?

Wrong.

As I dug deeper, it got complicated fast.

First, I needed to figure out how much power my household actually used. That sounded easy—just check the electric bill, like many apps suggested. But solar isn’t just about covering today’s needs. It’s about future-proofing your home. With solar, you can transition everything to electric—heating, cooling, even change to an electric car. And trust me, it’s worth it.

I also tried apps that designed solar systems based on roof size and orientation. That seemed promising… until I realized they didn’t work well. Many lacked support for different countries. Some were just painfully slow.

What started as an exciting journey toward sustainability quickly turned into a maze of calculations, compatibility checks, and frustration.

That’s when I decided: There has to be a simpler way.
